Sie funktionieren auf Basis der RFID-Technologie und ermöglichen aufgrund der Eindeutigkeit des vom Betätiger übermittelten Codes ein sehr hohes Sicherheits-Niveau bis einschließlich Kategorie 4 und Performance Level PL e. Dies geht einher mit einem hohen Schutz gegen mögliche Manipulationen. Je nach Risikograd können fertig konfigurierte RD800 Sensoren mit Standard- oder Unikat-Erkennung gewählt werden. Ist erhöhte Flexibilität erforderlich, bieten sich einlernbare RD800 an, wodurch ein Sensor für quasi alle Anwendungen verwendet werden kann. Um maximale Einsetzbarkeit zu erreichen, können bis zu 32 Sicherheits-Transponder über den M12-Anschluss, der sich rechts- oder linksseitig befinden kann, in Serie geschaltet werden.
