Im Unterschied zu anderen Lichtvorhängen am Markt entscheidet sich der Anwender beim MLC nicht nur für ein Gerät vom Typ 4 oder Typ 2 (MLC 500 bzw. MLC 300). Er hat beim MLC die Wahl zwischen drei Funktionsklassen. Somit kann er die Leistungsfähigkeit des Sensors selbst bestimmen - ganz gemäß seinen anwendungsbezogenen Anforderungen. Die Leistungsfähigkeit der neuen Sicherheits-Lichtvorhänge zeigt sich schon in der Basic-Variante beim automatischen Anlauf-Wiederanlauf und noch deutlicher in der Standard-Variante durch die integrierte Anlauf-/Wiederanlaufsperre und Schützkontrolle.
