Am Mittwoch trifft Bundeskanzlerin Angela Merkel die Chefs der vier großen Energiekonzerne, um über die zukünftige Energiepolitik zu beraten. Dazu erklärt Dr. Christian Friege, Vorstandsvorsitzender von LichtBlick, Deutschlands größtem unabhängigen Energieversorger:

"Wir fordern eine Beteiligung von LichtBlick und anderen Wettbewerbern am Energiegipfel. Die Bundesregierung steht sonst erneut im Verdacht, nur die Interessen der marktbeherrschenden Konzerne zu berücksichtigen. Themen wie die Zukunft der Atomkraft und neue Energiesteuern betreffen den gesamten Energiemarkt. Die von der Regierung angestrebte Laufzeitverlängerung wird die Vormachtstellung der Atomkonzerne weiter zementieren und den aufkeimenden Wettbewerb abwürgen."
