Linear Technology Corporation präsentiert den LT1938, einen 2,2A/25V-Abwärts-Schaltregler im 3mm x 3mm großen DFN-Gehäuse. Durch seinen weiten Eingangsspannungsbereich von 3,6V bis 25V eignet sich der LT1938 bestens für den Betrieb an 12V-Versorgungsspannungen oder ungeregelten Netzadaptern. Sein interner 3,1A-Schalter kann bei Spannungen bis hinab zu 1,265V bis zu 2,2A Dauerausgangsstrom liefern. Die Schaltfrequenz ist im Bereich 300kHz bis 2,8MHz programmierbar. Dadurch hat der Entwickler die Möglichkeit, den Wirkungsgrad zu optimieren und die Störstrahlung in ein unkritisches Frequenzband zu verlagern.
