Lufthansa Cargo-Flugzeug in Riad verunglückt

Nach bisher vorliegenden Informationen ist heute Morgen gegen 11:38 Uhr Ortszeit ein MD-11- Frachtflugzeug der Lufthansa Cargo in Riad, Saudi-Arabien, verunglückt. Das Flugzeug mit der Flugnummer LH 8460 war auf dem Weg von Frankfurt nach Riad.

Ersten Erkenntnissen zufolge befanden sich zwei Besatzungsmitglieder an Bord des Flugzeuges.Beide Piloten werden derzeit im Krankenhaus behandelt.

An Bord der Maschine befanden sich insgesamt 80 Tonnen Fracht. Bislang ist nicht bekannt, welche Fracht geladen war und welche Kunden betroffen sind.

Die Ursache des Unfalls wird derzeit untersucht. Zurzeit liegen noch keine weiteren Informationen vor. Sobald weitere Einzelheiten bekannt sind, informieren wir die Öffentlichkeit umgehend.
