PeterTools LiveSet 1.0 wurde als leistungsstarker und vielseitiger Echtzeit-MIDI-Prozessor entwickelt, um Rewire-Software wie Reason, Live 4 usw. für den Live-Einsatz zu erweitern und bühnentauglich zu gestalten. Bei der Software handelt es sich um ein mit 11 Modulen ausgestattetes virtuelles Software-Rack. Jeder Parameter von Reason oder einer Rewire kompatiblen Software kann per MIDI-Signal in Echtzeit gesteuert werden.

Durch die neue Version von Propellerheads Reason 3 wird PeterTools LiveSet 1.0 für Live-Aktivisten erst recht interessant. Mit eigens für Reason entwickelten Modulen - dem "ReasonPack" - lassen sich in sekundenschnelle Mixerpresets erstellen, präzise Loops vordefinieren, Oszillatoren kontrollieren und Tempoänderungen live abrufen.
