Keine Unterstützung für Kabel Deutschland K09 und D09 Smartcards mehr in AlphaCrypt CI-Modulen

"Aufgrund einer außergerichtlichten Einigung in einem Patentstreit mit der Firma Nagravision SA wird die Firma Mascom GmbH keine Module der AlphaCrypt-Serie mehr vertreiben, die bestimmte Smartcards von Nagravision unterstützen.

Entsprechend wird die Firma Mascom GmbH auch keine Firmware mehr für die Conditional Access Module (CI-Module) der AlphaCrypt-Serie vertreiben, die eine solche Unterstützung ermöglicht. Betroffen sind davon die Firmware-Versionen v3.10 bis v3.16 sowie die Kabel Deutschland Smartcards mit dem Aufdruck K09 und D09. Mascom bietet allen Kunden, die bereits ein Modul der AlphaCrypt-Serie besitzen, kostenlos eine neue Firmware ohne Support für die o. g. Smartcards an."
