Der DECS 50/5 (Digital EC Controller Sensorless) ist eine neue Steuerung zum Antrieb bürstenloser Gleichstrommotoren ohne Hall-Sensoren. Dank moderner Technologie und ausgefeilter integrierter Steuerungsalgorithmen können typische sensorlose Antriebe wie Pumpen- und Lüfterapplikationen einfach realisiert werden. Der im Hause maxon motor entwickelte Drehzahlregler besticht durch Leistung, Preis und Grösse.

Der weite Eingangsspannungs-Bereich von 10 bis 50 V erlaubt es, den DECS 50/5 sehr flexibel und vielseitig einzusetzen. Im Dauerbetrieb darf der Ausgangsstrom der Endstufe 5A erreichen. Somit beträgt die maximale Ausgangsleistung 250 Watt und dies bei einer Grösse von gerade einmal einer Visitenkarte.
