MEDIA BROADCAST baut Empfang des nationalen Digitalradios in Süddeutschland aus

MEDIA BROADCAST, Betreiber des nationalen Digitalradio-Multiplexes, weitet das Empfangsgebiet für das neue Digitalradio weiter aus. Zum 1. August 2013 wird das deutschlandweit empfangbare Programmbouquet über den Senderstandort Geislingen mit einer Leistung von 2 kW ausgestrahlt. Damit optimiert MEDIA BROADCAST den Empfang des neuen Digitalradios auch in Süddeutschland und stärkt insbesondere die Versorgung wichtiger Autobahnrouten wie der A8 zwischen Stuttgart und Ulm.

Mit der Inbetriebnahme des Standortes Geislingen verbreitet MEDIA BROADCAST das neue Digitalradio nunmehr über 52 Senderstandorte. Im Rahmen des Ausbauplans 2013 ist zum 1. September 2013 zudem die Inbetriebnahme des Standortes Minden/Nordrhein-Westfalen geplant.
