Die Karlsruher Internet-Agentur Metrix Internet Design GmbH gestaltete und realisierte im Auftrag der Berliner Senatsverwaltung für Gesundheit, Soziales und Verbraucherschutz den „Verbraucherwegweiser Berlin“. In diesem datenbankgestützten Web-Verzeichnis werden verschiedene Informations- und Beratungseinrichtungen in und um Berlin präsentiert. Durch diese zentrale Anlaufstelle sollen Bürgerinnen und Bürger mehr Orientierung bei der Suche nach Beratung und Information zu verschiedensten Bereichen erhalten. Da der Wegweiser in das Portal Berlin.de implementiert wurde, ist das Layout an das „look-and-feel“ der Seite angepasst. Für maximale Flexibilität wurde eine 3-Tier- Architektur implementiert.
