Gleichmann Electronics presents six new derivatives of the 78K0/KY2-L and 78K0/KA2-L 8-bit microcontroller families and six extremely low power consumtion 16-bit MCUs of the 78K0R-KF3-L and 78K0R/KG3-L series in Hall 9, Stand 235 at embedded world 2009.

The new 8-bit MCUs, manufactured by NEC Electronics, feature a standby current consumption of just 0.7 µA and a low operating current of 260 µA at 1 MHz clock frequency. Moreover, an integrated high-speed oscillator, as well as further diverse peripheral units such as A/D converter and operational amplifier, helps the user to reduce additional external components.
