MT Aerospace AG, Augsburg/Mainz, wurde von der französischen Raumfahrtbehörde CNES mit dem Bau von Teilen der Bodenanlagen für die Sojus-Trägerrakete in Kourou/Franz. Guyana, beauftragt. Der Auftragswert beläuft sich auf ca. 9,5 Millionen Euro. Im Rahmen eines europäischen Konsortiums verantwortet und koordiniert das Unternehmen Engineering, Fertigung, Lieferung und Montage der Integrationshalle sowie der Nebengebäude. Der Lieferanteil beinhaltet Stahlstruktur, Verkleidung, Großtore und Krane. Der erste Start einer Sojus-Rakete in Kourou ist für Ende 2008 geplant. Das gesamte Auftragsvolumen, das von der CNES an die beteiligten Europäischen Firmen vergeben wurde, beträgt mehr als 300 Millionen Euro.
