Nichia beginnt in Deutschland mit der Durchsetzung eines neu erteilten YAG Patents gegen Everlight

Ein neues, weiße LED betreffende Patent, das unter anderem YAG Phosphore umfasst, wurde vom Europäischen Patentamt zugunsten der Nichia Corporation ("Nichia") erteilt, nämlich EP 2 197 053.

Mit der Erteilung dieses neuen Patents hat Nichia umgehend damit begonnen, das Patent gegen Everlight durchzusetzen. Nichia hat am 26. Juni die derzeit am Oberlandesgericht Düsseldorf an-hängige und EP 936 682 (DE 697 02 929 - das "YAG Patent") betreffende deutsche Patentverlet-zungsklage gegen die taiwanesische Everlight Electronics Co., Ltd. und ihre deutsche Tochter Ever-light Electronics Europe GmbH (beide "Everlight") in Bezug auf EP 2 197 053 erweitert.
