US-Studie belegt: Widescreen Monitore steigern die Produktivität im Unternehmen

NEC Display Solutions of America veröffentlicht die Ergebnisse einer Produktivitätsstudie von Widescreen Monitoren. Für die Studie verantwortlich zeigte sich Dr. James A. Anderson, Professor für Kommunikation an der University of Utah. Ziel der Untersuchung war es, zu verdeutlichen, wie sich die Displaygröße auf die Arbeitsweise von Mitarbeitern in Unternehmen auswirkt. Bei Anwendern, die täglich lange Zeit vor dem PC verbringen, wurden signifikante Steigerungen der Produktivität von bis zu 52 Prozent festgestellt. So wurden etwa Aufgaben, für die User an 19-Zoll Standard-Format Bildschirmen acht Stunden benötigten, mit einem Wide-Format Display in fünfeinhalb Stunden erledigt.
