MKS Instruments erweitert die Produktfamilie der Ophir LP2 Laserleistungs- und Laserenergiemessköpfe mit sehr hoher Zerstörschwelle um den Ophir L50(150)A-LP2-35 Sensor. Es handelt sich dabei um einen kompakten thermischen Messkopf, der insbesondere bei hohen Leistungsdichten und Langpuls-Lasern eingesetzt wird. Die LP2-Beschichtung des Sensors bietet die industrieweit höchste Zerstörschwelle von 33 kW/cm2 bei einer maximalen mittleren Laserleistung von 150 Watt. Die spektral flache Beschichtung mit einem Verlauf von +/- 1 % im Bereich von 250 nm bis 2,2 µm weist eine Absorption von ca. 95 % für die meisten Wellenlängen auf und reduziert damit die Reflexionen deutlich.
