OSRAM bringt Umgebungslichtsensor mit digitalem I²C-Ausgang

Der SFH 5712 von OSRAM Opto Semiconductors nimmt die Umgebungshelligkeit wie das menschliche Auge wahr und lässt als einziger Sensor am Markt nicht nur Standarddatenraten zu, sondern auch schnelle Taktraten bis 3,4 MHz. Ohne weitere Steuerbefehle liefert ein integrierter Schaltkreis selbstständig zweimal pro Sekunde einen Messwert im Bereich von 3 bis 65.000 lx. Der Sensor hat nur vier Anschlüsse und beansprucht mit seinen winzigen Maßen von (2 x 2 x 0,7) mm kaum Platz. Über die integrierte I²C-Schnittstelle lässt er sich einfach ansteuern.
