Kompakter und effizienter passt die neue LED OSTAR Projection SMT von OSRAM Opto Semiconductors selbst in Pico-Projektoren, wie sie demnächst in Mobiltelefonen eingesetzt werden. Die neue OSTAR Projection misst nur (5,8 x 4,7 x 1,5) mm und kommt im Gegensatz zum Vorgängermodell ohne zusätzliche Stecker und Platine zur Wärmeableitung aus. Damit zielt die Minivariante auf Anwendungen mit geringem Platzangebot und eignet sich optimal für Pico-Projektoren. Diese können entweder direkt in Mobiltelefone integriert oder als Zubehör angesteckt werden. Dank SMT lässt sich die neue OSTAR Projection jetzt auch in Standard-Lötprozessen verarbeiten.
