EU bewilligt Ausbau innovativer Automobilforschung an Universität Magdeburg

Forschungsschwerpunkt Automotive der OVGU startet mit ingenieurwissen­schaftlichem Großprojekt

Der Forschungsschwerpunkt innovativer Automobiltechnik Automotive der Otto-von-Guericke-Universität Magdeburg wird ausgebaut. Über ein Verbundprojekt, an dem auch das Fraunhofer Institut für Fertigungstechnik und -automatisierung IFF und das Institut für Automation und Kommunikation (Ifak) beteiligt sind, werden in Magdeburg neue Lösungen für die Automobilindustrie erarbeitet. Der Europäische Strukturfonds bewilligte für das interdisziplinäre Forschungsvorhaben sieben Millionen Euro. Über einen Zeitraum von fünf Jahren werden dafür erstmals alle vier ingenieurwissenschaftlichen Fakultäten der Universität kooperieren, Professoren und Wissenschaftler von 18 Lehrstühlen interdisziplinär zusammenarbeiten.
