Free RP1210 Support for PEAK CAN Interfaces

The Recommended Practice 1210 (RP1210) is a standardized interface for the communication between vehicles and Windows software. The PCAN-RP1210 API is an implementation of RP1210 version C by PEAK-System. With the latest release, the company added support for the ISO-TP protocol (ISO 15765-2) in addition to CAN and J1939. The development of the former RP1210 version A implementation was discontinued since the standard was superseded by version C.

Since July 2020, PEAK-System offers the PCAN-RP1210 API free of charge for development and distribution. The new PCAN-RP1210 setup includes the API, documentation, as well as software for establishing and testing the
