Alles schon entdeckt? Sollte man meinen. Doch weit gefehlt. Mit der Entwicklung neuer Detektortechnik können bis heute immer wieder neue, bisher unbekannte Galaxien entdeckt werden. Die Spanne reicht von leuchtschwachen Riesen bis zu kleinen Zwerggalaxien. Andere verstecken sich hinter dem Band der Milchstraße. Hier muss technisch ein bisschen getrickst werden, um sie sichtbar zu machen. Spannende Entdeckungen warten auf Sie in der Sternwarte Frankfurt, Robert-Mayer-Straße 2-4.

Schon ab 19 Uhr finden in der Sternwartenkuppel Fernrohr-Führungen statt.

Eintritt 3,50 €, ermäßigt 2,00 € (Schüler, Studenten, Azubis, Ruheständler).
