Sobald Weihnachten vor der Tuer steht, steigt der Versandt von virtuellen Grusskarten und grafischen Anwendungen stark an. Diese Tatsache nutzen Virenautoren, um ihre Schaedlinge erfolgreich zu verbreiten. Anhand von Weihnachts-Gruessen im Betreff oder eMail-Body wird der User getaeuscht, der dann nichtsahnend den verseuchten Anhang oeffnet. Ein Wurm, der diesen Vorteil nutzt ist Klez.I. Ihm ist es moeglich die Betreffzeile seiner eMails zu modifizieren. Diese Eigenschaft erschwert es Usern Klez.l zu identifizieren, da der Wurm verschiedene Betreffzeilen aus Woertern, die in eMails genutzt werden und Dateien des infizierten Computers zusammenstellt.
