Der ProSTEP iViP e.V. stellt am 08.03.2012 um 17:45 Uhr auf dem IT-Kongress automotiveDAY (http://automotiveday.automotiveit.eu/) den Codex of PLM Openness (CPO) zur Schaffung eines gemeinsamen Verständnis von Offenheit bei IT-Systemen im Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) vor. Als Sprecher treten Elisabeth Hoeflich (CIO Continental AG) und Karl-Erich Probst (CIO BMW Group) auf. An der Entwicklung des CPO sind neben Continental AG und BMW Group die IT-Anwender und -Anbieter Daimler, Dassault Systèmes, IBM, Oracle, PTC, SAP, Siemens PLM Software, T-Systems und Volkswagen beteiligt gewesen.
