QDI bringt Intel P4I848P Motherboard auf den Markt

QDI, einer der weltweit führenden Mainboard Hersteller, kündigt mit dem QDI P4I848P ein Mainboard an, dass entwickelt wurde um ein großes Spektrum Pentium 4 CPUs zu unterstützen. Dazu gehören auch Celeron P4 Willamette/Northwood und Prescott, der für nächsten Monat angekündigt ist.
Das P4I848P nutzt als Northbridge den Intel 848P Chip und bietet 800MHz FSB, DDR 400 Unterstützung und verfügt über eine AGP 8X Schnittstelle. Als Southbridge befindet sich Intels ICH5 auf dem Board mit acht USB-Ports, zwei SATA und zwei ATA 100/66 Schnittstellen sowie 5.1 Surround Sound. Des weiteren sind optional 10/100/1Gb LAN und zwei 1394 Schnittstellen (Firewire) verfügbar.
