UK public broadcaster chooses Enterprise sQ to boost workflow and integrate operations at its flagship West One facility

The Quantel Enterprise sQ system will be used by the BBC to handle news video production for its Arabic & Persian, and local London services, based at its newly refurbished New Broadcasting House facility in London.

The Quantel installation will enable production staff of both services to benefit from the broadcaster's Jupiter asset management/Quantel video editing solution, giving them the ability to access and share media with the BBC's other Quantel-based news production facilities.

This order expands the Quantel Enterprise sQ installation at New Broadcasting House, increasing storage to 6000 hours at DVCPro 100HD, split into 13 zones
