Startschuss für den Bau der thermischen Abfallbehandlungsanlage Inbetriebnahme Ende 2007/Anfang 2008 geplant

m heutigen Tage fiel der Startschuss für den Bau einer thermischen Abfallbehandlungsanlage in Sachsen-Anhalt. REMONDIS wird am Standort Staßfurt rund 150 Millionen Euro in die Errichtung der Anlage investieren. Zur Inbetriebnahme, die für Ende 2007/Anfang 2008 geplant ist, werden ca. 50 neue Arbeitsplätze unmittelbar sowie weitere 50 bis 60 mittelbar entstehen. Die Anlage wird über eine Kapazität von mehr als 300.000 Tonnen verfügen. Die im thermischen Behandlungsprozess erzeugte Energie wird dem nahe gelegenen Produktionsstandort der Sodawerk Staßfurt geliefert, der aufgrund einer geplanten Kapazitätserweiterung erheblichen zusätzlichen Bedarf hat.
