Moderne Prozessoren "produzieren" eine Abwärme von ca. 70W/cm2. Dies entspricht ca. der spezifischen Heizleistung von vier bis acht Herdplatten. Nach der vielbeachteten und erfolgreichen Vorstellung erster Prototypen auf der letztjährigen CeBIT und in Projektgeschäften bietet Rittal jetzt für alle gängigen Racksysteme ein innovatives einbaufertiges Systempaket zur Flüssigkeitskühlung an. Das Power Cooling System (PCS) führt die Abwärme direkt am Entstehungsort, am Prozessor, mit Hilfe eines Wasser-Wärmetauschers absolut effizient und betriebssicher ab.
