Für Verbrennungsmotoren mit einem Startleistungsbedarf von über 15 kW hat Bosch eine neue Parallelstartanlage für 24-Volt-Bordnetze entwickelt. Diese hohen Leistungen sind beispielsweise in Baumaschinen, großen Traktoren und auch bei Stationärmotoren erforderlich. Die Anlage basiert auf zwei oder drei gekoppelten Vorgelegestartern der HEP-109-Baureihe. Je nach Umgebungstemperatur beim Kaltstart und der Größe der hydraulischen Zusatzlasten beim Motorstart kann die Anlage bereits bei Motoren ab neun Liter Hubraum erforderlich sein. In der Standardapplikation ist sie für Dieselmotoren bis 72 Liter Hubraum und Ottomotoren bis 144 Liter Hubraum ausgelegt. Bosch plant den Serienstart Anfang 2007.
