Komplett verschleissfrei verrichten kapazitive Taster ihre Arbeit. Ihre Funktionsweise unterscheidet sich grundsätzlich von jener der mechanischen Taster. Hier gibt es keinen Hub. Nichts Bewegliches. Allein durch das Berühren des Sensorbereichs mit dem Finger verändert sich ein elektrisches Feld. Diese Veränderung löst daraufhin einen Wechsel des Schalterzustands aus.
