Der Infrarot Touch Screen eignet sich speziell für den Einsatz bei extremen Anforderungen an die Touch Screen Oberfläche, wie z.B. in der Medizintechnik und im Maschinenbau. Die IR-Technologie ermöglicht auch eine Betätigung mit spitzen und harten Gegenständen. Durch die extrem flache Bauhöhe des Touchrahmens, wird das Infrarotlicht-Raster praktisch direkt über das LCD-Display projiziert. Zum Schutz für das LCD-Display, wird eine kratzfeste und beidseitig entspiegelte Echtglas- oder Kunststoffscheibe in den Touchrahmen verklebt. Die eingesetzten Glasfilterscheiben entsprechen den unterschiedlichsten Anforderungen an optische Qualität, Splitterschutz, Oberflächenhärte, chemischer Beständigkeit und Abschirmung. Bis zu 100%-ige Lichtdurchlässigkeit sorgt für eine hervorragende Display-Brillanz.
