Die neu erschienene Publikation "Statistische Erhebungen und Schätzungen über Landwirtschaft und Ernährung" ist in zwölf Kapitel gegliedert und umfasst 285 Seiten. Darin wird das ganze Spektrum der Landwirtschaftsstatistik abgedeckt: Von den landwirtschaftlichen Strukturen, dem Themenbereich Umwelt und Produktionsmittel, der Nahrungsmittelversorgung, der Preisentwicklung für Produzenten und Konsumenten, der landwirtschaftlichen beruflichen Aus- und Weiterbildung bis zu internationalen Vergleichen. Einleitende Texte zu den Kapiteln und einige Grafiken ergänzen dabei die 222 Tabellen. Das Kapitel 6 "Ernährung" wurde für die vorliegende Ausgabe vollständig überarbeitet.
