Komplett mit Antenne, Sender/Empfänger, Cortex® M4F ARM-Mikrocontroller und Bluetooth Low Energy 4.2 Stack ausgestattet ist das ab sofort bei SE Spezial-Electronic verfügbare Bluetooth Low Energy 4.2 Funkmodul NINA‑B112 von u-blox. Da das Modul ohne Groundplane auskommt, fällt der benötigte Platinenplatz mit nur 140 mm2 deutlich geringer als bei vielen anderen Funkmodulen aus.

Mit der kompakten Standalone-Lösung lassen sich schnell und zuverlässig unterschiedlichste IoT-Applikationen realisieren, wobei dank der neuesten Bluetooth 4.2 Spezifikation eine verbesserte Verbindungssicherheit und ein höherer Datendurchsatz als bei früheren Versionen gewährleistet ist.
