Eine Leuchtdichte von bis zu 850 cd/m², ein Kontrastverhältnis von 500:1 und ein weiter horizontaler bzw. vertikaler Betrachtungswinkel von jeweils 150° zeichnen das ab sofort bei SE Spezial-Electronic erhältliche 5,2"-(13,21-cm-)Breitformat-TFT-LCD WF52ASZASDNN0 des taiwanesischen Herstellers Winstar aus.

Der allseitige Betrachtungswinkel von jeweils 75° wird durch einen speziellen neunlagigen optischen Film (O-Film) erreicht, mit dessen Hilfe der Strahlengang aufgefächert wird. Die Auflösung des Displays beträgt 480 x 128 Pixel, die Ansteuerung erfolgt über ein paralleles 24-Bit-RGB-Interface. Für eine Betriebsspannung von 3,3 V ausgelegt, beträgt die Stromaufnahme ohne Backlight lediglich rund 20 mA.
