SE Spezial-Electronic erweitert Portfolio an ultrakompakten, hochpräzisen Low- Power-Echtzeituhren von Epson

In einem lediglich 3,2 x 2,5 x 1,0 mm3 großen Gehäuse sind die dank integriertem 32,768-kHz-Quarz hochpräzisen Low-Power-Echtzeituhren RX8130CE und RX8900CE von Epson untergebracht, die SE Spezial-Electronic auf der embedded world in Halle 4A, Stand 350 vorstellt.

Beide Real Time Clocks sind mit einer I2C-Schnittstelle ausgestattet. Während viele Echtzeituhren nach wie vor auf eine zusätzliche externe Diode angewiesen sind, um bei einem Ausfall der Hauptstromversorgung auf eine Batterie umschalten zu können, verfügen die RTCs RX8130CE und RX8900CE zudem über platzsparende integrierte Umschalter, die nur einen sehr geringen Spannungsabfall verursachen.
