EMEA hat Jerinis Antrag auf Marktzulassung von Icatibant zur Behandlung des hereditären Angioödems angenommen

Die Jerini AG (FSE:JI4) gab heute bekannt, dass ihr Antrag auf Marktzulassung von Icatibant zur Behandlung des hereditären Angioödems (HAE) von der europäischen Zulassungsbehörde European Medicines Evaluation Agency (EMEA) am 15. August 2007 angenommen wurde. Jerini wurde vom CHMP (Committee for Medical Products for Human Use) der Behörde ein beschleunigtes Verfahren für die Durchsicht der eingereichten Unterlagen gewährt. Das beschleunigte Verfahren verkürzt die reguläre Prüfdauer von 210 auf 150 Kalendertage und wird für solche Arzneimittelkandidaten gewährt, deren schnelle Verfügbarkeit im allgemeinen gesundheitlichen Interesse liegt und die eine innovative Behandlungsmöglichkeit darstellen.
