Cool und Schnell: S-IPC Intel® Atom(TM) Dual Core

Der neue S-IPC ist mit einem 1,66 GHz Intel® Atom(TM) Dual Core Prozessor ausgestattet. Die SpeedStep-Funktionalität des Atom Prozessors ermöglicht eine passive Kühlung mittels Kühlkörper. Bei höheren Umgebungstemperaturen empfiehlt sich der Einsatz mit Lüftereinheit. Eine 7-Segment Anzeige und sechs Status-LEDs liefern dem Anwender Auskünfte über den aktuellen Status.

Als Programm- und Datenspeicher können zwei Compact Flash Karten verwendet werden. Zwei weitere IDE Geräte, etwa eine Festplatte oder ein CD-ROM/DVD Combo-Laufwerk, lassen sich über eine tauschbare Laufwerkseinheit anschließen. Optional ist es möglich, zwei PCI-Erweiterungskarten nachträglich einzubauen. Als Betriebssystem ist Windows XP bzw. 7 vorgesehen.
