Neue Schnittstellen für weitere CAD-Programme

Die simus systems GmbH hat die Software simus classmate mit der Produktlinie classmate CAD zur automatischen Klassifikation von 3D-CAD-Modellen selbst konstruierter Bauteile weiterentwickelt und ausgebaut. Ab sofort kann die Software nun neben Autodesk Inventor und Unigraphics mit einem weiteren CAD-Programm kombiniert werden. Eine entsprechende neu entwickelte Schnittstelle sorgen für die reibungslose Kommunikation zwischen classmate CAD und dem CAD-Programm CATIA V5. Die Schnittstelle wurde zusammen mit T-Systems in Leinfelden-Echterdingen realisiert, die diese im Paket mit weiteren Konvertern (z.B. für JT oder STEP) anbietet. classmate CAD entlastet den Konstrukteur bei seiner Arbeit, da zeitraubende Mehrfachkonstruktionen derselben oder ähnlicher Teile vermieden werden.
