SMC Networks bringt mit dem SMC7804WBRB und dem SMC7204BRB zwei 4-Port Breitband-Router mit integriertem Annex B ADSL-Modem. Die beiden Barricades bieten eine Gesamtlösung aus Switching, IP Sharing und Firewall. Der SMC7804WBRB beinhaltet zudem einen 2.4GHz 54Mbps Wireless Access Point nach 802.11g.

Der SMC7204BRB und der SMC7804WBRB können als Bridge für einen einzelnen PC oder als vollwertiger Breitband Router für einen gemeinsamen Internetzugang mehrerer PCs eingesetzt werden. Für Sicherheit sorgen eine SPI-Firewall sowie VPN Passthrough. Das integrierte Modem unterstützt Full-Rate ADSL mit bis zu 8 Mbps Downstream und 1024 Kbps Upstream.
