Baotou Steel International Economic & Trading Co. Ltd. hat im März 2009 einen Auftrag über die Lieferung einer neuen 159 mm PQF®- Nahtlosrohranlage (Premium Quality Finishing) an die italienische SMS INNSE, Mailand, vergeben. SMS INNSE ist eine der italienischen Tochtergesellschaften der SMS Siemag AG.

Der Lieferumfang von SMS umfasst die Konstruktion und Herstellung sowie die Montage und Inbetriebnahmeüberwachung der Hauptwalzwerke der Rohrwalzlinie: Kegelschrägwalzwerk, PQF®, Ausziehvorrichtung und Streck-Reduzierwalzwerk.

Für diese Nahtlosrohranlage arbeitet SMS INNSE mit SMS Meer, Mönchengladbach, zusammen, die das Kompetenzzentrum für Rohranlagen innerhalb der SMS group darstellt und die Bereiche Kegelschrägwalzwerk und Streckreduzierwalzwerk liefert.
