Mit dem EBC 310X stellt Spectra ein 3,5" embedded PC-Board vor, das speziell für Applikationen unter extremen Temperaturbedingungen und hoher Luftfeuchte entwickelt wurde. Das Board kann in einer Umgebungstemperatur zwischen -40°C und +85°C betrieben werden. Bei schnellen Temperaturwechseln und hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit bildet sich häufig Kondenswasser, was zu Schäden durch Kurzschluss oder Korrosion bei "normalen" Mainboards führen kann. Beim EBC 310X sorgt ein Schutzüberzug (Conformal Coating), der alle Komponenten des Boards einschließt, dafür, dass Feuchtigkeit keinen Schaden anrichten kann.
