Mit dem PROFIBUS zu Modbus Gateway GW-7553 stellt Spectra ein Modul vor, mit dem es möglich ist, von einem PROFIBUS Master System auf ein Gerät mit Ethernet Interface, welches das Modbus TCP Protokoll unterstützt, zuzugreifen. Das Modul ermöglicht somit sehr einfach und preisgünstig die Integration von Modbus Devices in eine PROFIBUS Installation. Das Gateway unterstützt den Modbus Master und den Modbus Slave Modus. Dies macht das GW-7553 zu einem sehr universell einsetzbaren Gerät. Durch den integrierten Webserver kann die Konfiguration des Moduls benutzerfreundlich über einen Standard Webbrowser erfolgen.
