Stollmann hat als eine der ersten Firmen weltweit das neue Health Device Profile (HDP) der Bluetooth SIG für medizinische Geräte implementiert. Dieses stellt Stollmann jetzt im Rahmen einer Zusammenarbeit den Mitgliedern der Continua Health Alliance, einem Zusammenschluss der wichtigsten Medizingerätehersteller weltweit, als Development-Kit zur Verfügung. Stollmann wurde als Technologieführer dafür zusammen mit einem Partner von Continua ausgewählt. Das Bluetooth HDP ist von der Continua Health Alliance als kabellose Übertragung für das einheitliche Datenformat nach der IEEE 11073 Norm ausgewählt worden.

Als einzige deutsche Industriefirma hat sich Stollmann an der internationalen Standardisierung des Bluetooth HDP für medizinische Geräte beteiligt.
