Für die Bereitstellung, Speicherung und Auswertung von Schulungen über das Internet nutzt die kalifornische Stanford Hospital & Clinics künftig die Unternehmenslösung LMS7.2 von SumTotal Systems (Nasdaq: SUMT). Mit dieser Software-Plattform stellt das Krankenhaus seinen Mitarbeitern zunächst eine Palette an IT-Schulungen zur Verfügung, die der Einführung eines großen Krankenhaus-Informationssystems dienen. Später beabsichtigt die Klinik, das gesamte IT-Training über das System abzuwickeln.
