Sun Microsystems und die NetBeans Entwickler Community kündigen die Verfügbarkeit von NetBeans IDE (Integrated Development Environment) 6.8 an. Die Open Source-Entwicklungsumgebung unterstützt als erste IDE sowohl Java EE 6 als auch den neuen Sun GlassFish Enterprise Server v3. Durch verbesserte Sprach- und Plattformeigenschaften wird die Entwicklung neuer Java Applikationen vereinfacht.
