"Sprechendes Auto"- T-Systems unterstützt Pläne der EU-Kommission für mehr Verkehrssicherheit

Die Europäische Kommission will mit dem "sprechenden Auto" die Verkehrssicherheit auf Europas Straßen deutlich erhöhen. Dazu will sie nun in allen 27 Ländern Funkfrequenzen reservieren. Die einheitliche Frequenz soll eine Kommunikation zwischen Fahrzeugen und Fahrern erlauben. Hauptzweck ist, Unfälle zu vermeiden und Staus zu verhindern. Die neuen Systeme können Autofahrer beispielsweise vor Glatteis oder einem Unfall warnen.
"Eine einheitliche Frequenz, wie von der Europäischen Kommission gefordert, ist ein Meilenstein für intelligente Fahrzeuginformationssysteme", sagt Dr. Marcus Heitmann, Car ICT-Experte bei T-Systems. "So können wir die aktuelle Verkehrslage wesentlich genauer erfassen, um Verkehrsteilnehmer vor Gefahren rechtzeitig zu warnen.
