Auf der diesjährigen Vision vom 4. bis 6. November 2008 hatten die Besucher die Gelegenheit, live zu sehen, welche strengen und vielfältige Prüfungen ein Automobil bestehen muss, bevor es an den Verbraucher ausgeliefert wird. Erstmals initiierten Fachzeitschriften gemeinsam mit Unternehmen auf der Fachmesse für industrielle Bildverarbeitungs- und Identifikationstechnologien den "Automotive Application Park", der praxisnah demonstrierte, was hochmoderne industrielle Bildverarbeitungstechnologien (IBV) und flexible Handlingssysteme leisten können. Der Hersteller von Industriecomputern tci steuerte als Partner des Application Park zur Visualisierung der Anlage acht Panel-Displays aus der A19-Serie und einen rundum geschlossenes Terminal der T15-Serie bei.
