TechniSat präsentiert mit der TechniBox S1 einen umfangreich ausgestatteten HDTV-DigitalSat- Receiver mit zahlreichen Anschlussmöglichkeiten. Neben CI+ und USB-Schnittstelle bietet die TechniBox S1 einen Ethernet-Port um die Box über UPnP / DLNA ins Heimnetzwerk einzubinden.

Dass die TechniBox S1 über die populären kostenlosen TechniSat Mehrwertdienste SiehFern INFO (Komfort-Programminformationsdienst), TechniMatic (automatisches Softwareupdate) und ISIPRO (automatisches Programmlistenupdate) verfügt, ist selbstverständlich.
