Ab sofort ist auch der HDTV-DigitalSat-Receiver DIGIT HD8-S mittels eines Software-Updates und einem speziellen HD+ CI-Modul für HD+ geeignet. Neben den beiden Receivern DigiCorder HD S2 und DigiCorder HD S2 Plus kann ab sofort auch der DIGIT HD8-S neben den freien und unverschlüsselten HD-Programmen wie Das Erste, ZDF HD, Arte HD und Servus TV HD mittels eines HD+ CI-Modul und entsprechender HD+ Karte die HD+ Programme RTL HD, SAT.1 HD, ProSieben HD, VOX HD, kabel eins HD, SPORT1 HD, RTL II HD und sixx HD empfangen.
