Chemie-Leistungskurs erlebt neueste Forschungen hautnah

Statt in der Schule dem regulären Unterricht zu folgen, erlebt der Chemie-Leistungskurs (Lehrerin: Heike Schmidt) der Edith-Stein-Schule Darmstadt am Donnerstag, den 8. Mai 2008, Forschung hautnah. Die beiden Lehramtsstudenten Johannes Mehringer und Louis Schumann informieren die Schülerinnen und Schüler über den Sonderforschungsbereich Elektrische Ermüdung in Funktionswerkstoffen (SFB 595) und seine thematischen Schwerpunkte Ermüdung organischer Leuchtdioden und Herstellung von Lithium-Ionen-Dünnschichtbatterien. Dabei stellen die Referenten nicht die wissenschaftliche Theorie in den Mittelpunkt: Nach einer kurzen Einführung können die Schülerinnen und Schüler organische Leuchtdioden und Lithium-Ionen-Akkus bauen und betreiben.
