Testa Analytical Solutions e.K. berichtet, dass seine BI-XDC Röntgenscheibenzentrifuge es Wissenschaftlern ermöglicht, genaue, hochauflösende Messungen der Partikelgrößenverteilung von Nanometern bis zu Zehn Mikrometern ohne zeitaufwändige Kalibrierung oder Absorptionskorrektur durchzuführen. Basierend auf dem Prinzip der Photosedimentation misst der BI-XDC die Größe der Partikel entsprechend der Zeit, die das Partikel zur Sedimentation im Detektor nach dem Stokes-Gesetz benötigt.
