Spektakulärer Schwertransport: Schiffe lieferten 120 Tonnen-Bauteile für größten Hochofen Europas

Ein Schiff wird kommen, hieß es im Hafen Walsum. Genau genommen waren es sogar drei Wasserfahrzeuge, zwei Binnenschiffe und ein Schiffskran mit extrem schwerer Fracht, auf die das Team vom Hochofenbetrieb Schwelgern, von der Anlagentechnik sowie externen Spezialunternehmen wartete. Die Schiffe brachten jetzt Großkomponenten für die Modernisierung des Hochofens 2 bei ThyssenKrupp Steel Europe. Auf Grund der Abmessungen konnte die Lieferung für Europas größten Hochofen nur über den Wasserweg erfolgen. Die Anlagenteile haben einen Durchmesser von bis zu acht Metern.
